Holy smokes! O_O......Awesome! I cannot even critique it because its so much better than I can do! Forshortening and stuff is my weakness.

I tend to do foreshortening cold turkey, which is a weakness as well...if you want to learn foreshortening you must learn to use dummy anatomies (cylinders, spheres, etc) and plot out a few grids so you can place and scale your foreshortened objects.

Oh, and it helps to thumbnail your drawings as well. Planning your art via thumbnail makes life so much easier, especially when you have to do special effects like foreshortening. :-)

Finally, thanks for the comments. Glad you like this image. First time for me to color like this, actually (hence the inconsistencies--Vaan and Balth have soft shaded skin while the Seeq have hard shades).

I haven't played FFXII yet myself, but I have watched a low level no-license-grid video on the fight...yeah, I agree, it's a tough one.
